Scruttons, originally a London stevedore over 100 years ago, is now the leading provider of bulk, breakbulk, container terminal and warehousing services in Belfast.The company has considerable experience in handling all types of cargo; grains and cereals, animal feedstuffs, cement, coal, fertilizer, aggregates, steel, pipes, windmills, and timber. Scruttons also operates the second container terminal in Belfast on behalf of the leading Irish Sea container operator, Eucon.

Hamilton Shipping started off life in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1919 as Alex M Hamilton + Co, named after the Great Uncle of current Group Managing Director, Gordon Hamilton. Gordon took over the running of the business from his Father, Jimmy, in 1990.
Life in the third generation has led to a significant period of growth and development. From its origins in Belfast, Hamilton Shipping now operates from 6 sites in Londonderry, Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
